Cause I’m in a different time zone and it’s 8.45pm.
Because I don’t have a final tomorrow, so there’s no need for me to be well-rested. I slept until 2 PM Wednesday. Of course, I didn’t go to bed until 5 AM, so it evens out.

I find it interesting that such a question is asked on what is, effectively, an international board.
I’m awake ‘cause it’s only just before 9 pm in wild Kiwi time, and I’m in th’ midst of a wonderful cider buzz. Pride means I’m taking just that leetle bit more care to obliterate the typos I can see. I could be awake a couple more hours, or I might not. S’all in th’ lap of the gods. Unfortunately, this is th’ last of the cider in the house, so eventually I’ll sober up again. Bummer. 
Well, it’s only 5.50pm here and I am finishing off some work before I go home. I only have tomorrow and Monday left and them I am on holidays for 3 weeks.

Yup. Totally agree. But if this thread lasts out, it could cross all the international timezones. There’ll be all sorts of responses, from different times, different places, as has already happened.

It’s about 9.40 pm here. My cat is farting on me. It’s annoying.
It’s 2:30 AM, and my roommate’s ex has proven today that he can get into her side of the room and go through all her stuff without me noticing. And that he won’t take “go away” as an order.
Basically, I’m scared.
Dammit, I have two finals tomorrow, even.
General anxiety. I generally don’t sleep until I’m exhausted enough that my vision gets wobbly.
It’s 4:40 PM here, I was freed from school half an hour ago, that half-hour went to the bus trip… Time for my routine glue-myself-to-the-computer-for-the-next-three-or-four-hours-when-I-should-be-studying-or-doing-homework ritual. Including Doping. Wheeeee…
I can’t sleep because I worked night shift for seven years, am unemployed right now and I’M FREAKING OUT ABOUT $$$.

I was working on a statement of interest for a grad school app. I don’t have work tomorrow, so I can stay up as late as I want.
It’s 2:09 am and after just having the best sex in the history of the universe, I needed to get up and have a smoke.

It’s 2:44 am and I’ve come back from seeing the 11 showing of Two Towers. I discover my computer’s been left on all day, and so I decide to surf a bit while my electric blanket warms the bed.
Because I have to be at work by 4:00 a.m. YEAH!!!
Because it’s a quarter past 1 in the afternoon and I need to go to work soon. But first, I have to go buy Christmas presents. So, naturally, I’m surfing the SDMB.
