I saw a sculpture of a chess set at the Art Institute of Chicago and I’ve recently been looking for a picture of it. I’ve found a couple of Man Ray chess sets via Google but they’re not quite the same design as the one at the museum. And you’d think THEY would have it, but I’ve had no luck finding it.
Can anyone out there help me out?
Is this it? Unfortunately (for us) the page is in Spanish and the photo is small. If my memory is correct from my visit to the Art Institute about 10 years ago, though, this sure looks like it.
Oh, I should add that I also took a picture of it while I was there, but it turned out lousy. If you reeeeally still want to see it, though, I’ll dig it out and get it scanned and posted.
