Why Can't I Post a YouTube Link?

YouTube links randomly re-starting

Most recently, this happened while reading the Mandalorian thread. I had opened a YT link and watched it part way down the thread. I finished, hit pause, and went on scrolling. Several times, as I was trying to read, the YT link would just randomly re-start. It was quite annoying. Is there any way to close the link or make it stop for good?
