In the FQ thread “Scat car? Old riding toy ID” the 11th post has an embedded Youtube video at the end, complete with thumbnail, video title and description from youtube. I thought this was something we couldn’t do on Discourse, especially since I thought I had tried it myself more than once and gotten an error message. Was I mistaken about this?
If you copy the address and just paste it to its own line it should work.
Is this what you mean by the thumbnail?

Easily copied from a web browser, probably tougher from the YouTube App.
And hit Reply before the preview loads.
Seems like I always have to put a slash at the end of the link, and it won’t accept links with copy URL from this point.
