Why did Adam Lanza fall off the grid in 2009?

He used Remington steel jacketed bullets.

Is there any video of him doing this? :dubious:

To cover themselves with the police, not with the media. Any decision to make that footage public or not would be up to law enforcement - and as I said above, I can think of several reasons the police would choose not to distribute video footage of people being shot and killed in an elementary school.

What point would that be? That many, many people are effectively “invisible” and off the grid… and never do anything that makes us notice their absence?

Of all the CT’s I’ve read about over the years, the Sandy Hook CT is about the least thought out CT I’ve ever seen.
A major plot plot point: The school was “mysteriously” closed that day…everyone was told to stay home so the goverment could come in and “stage” a massacre.
Twenty students and six teachers died. They would be missed. When I was in elementary school a little girl who had had many health problems died. I didn’t know her personally, but I had seen her at school. The entire school mourned for her and our yearbook was dedicated to her.
Are they basically saying the entire Sandy Hook school was a farce? Or that the entire student body and faculty and the family’s were all in on it? No one new the decesed faculty and children?

A pretty lame CT this one.

the guy was acting there is no going around it

That’s a pretty bold, and completely unsupported accusation. Do you have anything to back it up beside your gut?

Sure he does. The internet is full of wackos just like him that prove his point beyond a shadow of a doubt.

Plus Alex Jones.

A join date of today, and a debut post in this thread. Good enough to convince this skeptic!

Um, bullshite.

I am a parent, and I can assure you that I have no idea how I would react to the sudden death of one of my children. Knowing my temperment and personality, I would probably shut down. I am not a very demonstrative person at the best of times, and I tend to close up even more in the face of tragedy or trauma.

Being affectless is just as legitimate a reaction as wailing and rending of garments, it just doesn’t play as well on television.

Besides, even in the absolutely insane scenario in which the parents shown on TV were “actors”, why would they underact their grief? Wouldn’t they weep and gnash their teeth and wail on camera?

Budget cuts, apparently. They could only afford community theater alums.

If the grieving parent was an actor, does that supposedly mean that there weren’t actually any dead children and the whole thing was made up, or that there were dead children but the existing parents weren’t media friendly enough, or something else? In either event am I to believe that no one in town is complaining that they’ve never heard of this individual or his child before?

I don’t want to go digging through conspiracy sites but I am curious as to how this is even supposed to make any sense whatsoever even as a conspiracy theory.

You don’t want to go there, it’s Crazy Town. Check you brain at the door. EVERYTHING IS A CONSPIRACY!

Adam Lanza’s falling off the grid is proof that the world is flat.

And a griddle.

Robbie Parker made a public statement soon after notification of his daughters death. His wording and mannerisms are straight out of a LDS Fast and Testimony meeting, IMO, and I haven’t attended one in over 20 years. From what I gather from the Sandy Hook ‘Truther’ sites, is during Robbie’s statement he smiles and laughs briefly when discussing his daughter’s personality and ‘how blessed he was to be her Dad’. It makes sense to me that during a time of shock and grief one would turn to their faith and/or religious mores in articulating a public statement and wishing to include special memories about the person they lost.

The Parker family had moved to Newtown about a year before the shooting. Prior to that they lived in Utah, where Emilie was born and where they where they decided to hold her funeral and lay her to rest. Due to the Parkers’ connection to thelocalcommunity there was a large outpouring of support - so much so that Emilie had two services, a public and private one.
