Just found out from a friend this evening that the Jerry’s Famous Deli in Studio City, the one that hosted the bowling-oriented Dopefest that I didn’t get to attend, burned! Not actually burned down, but burned enough to be closed!
I never knew this until now, and it happened in May! Shows how often I get out, I suppose.

It was pretty big news, Rilch. I know that it had been on the local news and in the papers.
Well, there’s always the Jerry’s in Encino and in Woodland Hills (it’s just a little more of a drive down Ventura Boulevard).
Java: I don’t follow the local news. Same stuff over and over.
BTW, apologies to Bryan. I’m not going to be there tonight either. As soon as I get my car fixed and have freedom of mobility, I will start attending.
