Guinastasia, yeah I have captions, that doesn’t mean that they captioned them.
Zette, Im not wavering. If they aren’t going to talk to the 20% of americans that are disabled, why should I vote for them? What if they never mentioned anything about women & what they would do for them? Would a woman want to vote for them? I didn’t like either one of the candidates. Is that a better reason for ya?
Actually, I don’t care what your real reason is. I’m simply saying that claiming you don’t have access to the information that is readily available is a cop-out, especially if the actual reason is because you didn’t like either candidate. I don’t normally challenge people on issues like this, but I have a disability too, yet I make the accomidations needed to live the fullest life I can. No one does it for me.
I would be behind you 100% if that info was not available anywhere else, by the way.
Sorry Zette, but I just can’t rate anyone by reading words, I need to see their faces when they speak them. It’s a great way of deciding if they are speaking the truth. Life would be so very boring if we could only read words & never see a person’s face speak them.
Just out of curiousity… There would seem to be a lot of people who didn’t vote because they didn’t register in time???
Is this based on individual state law? I registered when I went to vote (about 6pm on Nov. 7) and have done that at several polling locations when I have moved into a different district/ward. Is this a Wisconsin thing where we are accomodating to someone who actually wants to vote?
different states have different regs on the matter. In my state (MI), you’ve got to be registered at least 30 days before the election. from what I saw, it ranges from on site on election day to 30 days.
