First of all, it’s interesting to have an actual pimp here - if indeed that’s what you are. I’m always naturally skeptical about this stuff but I guess for now I’ll give you the benefit of the doubt.
I just want you to try to watch your spelling and punctuation. Around here, we care about that, just like in the pimp world, you guys undoubtedly care about certain things. When in Rome, you know. Write on here with the same care you would write on your resume.
Bingo. Any guy who has multiple women at his beck and call - and especially if all of them are aware of all of the other women and are cool with that - is someone who gets a lot of respect and admiration from everyone else. Guys and girls. As much as women say they hate these kind of guys, let’s face facts - they keep pulling in more women, so obviously many women do like them. A guy who has a reputation as having lots of women will cause lots more women to want him. Snowball effect. Lots of women = cool guy, cool guy = women want him.
Conversely, guys who stick to one woman often get derided by other guys - getting only slightly more respect than outright virgins. I am absolutely positive that my boss, who constantly regales me with tales of the “hundreds” of women he went through in his earlier life as a handsome and successful hustler in American Psycho-era 1980s New York, looks down on me (though he’d never actually say it) because I’ve been with the same girl for the past few years.
You last paragraph surprises me, Argent Towers. I well remember the pre-HIV ethos of the 70s and 80s, when the ideal of the Playboy pants-man rode high. But I rather thought that had died out culturally. It’s all a bit… Quagmire; kind of pathetic and sad to be simply a manwhore.
Any middle aged guy still hanging on to his glory days to impress younger guys is kind of icky. I can’t imagine anyone trying that schtick these days who would not get a condescending look back from the younger guy that said without words “put that wrinkly thing back in your pants, old dude”.
Oh, I wouldn’t say EVERYONE else. Yeah, some people (male and female both) will respect and admire him. But just because a playa can get multiple women doesn’t mean that he’s universally or even widely admired by women. It just means that he can get half a dozen or so women to go along with him. It doesn’t matter to him if there’s a thousand other women who despise him, he’s got a plateful.
And yes, some men do look down on men who are not playas. They have invested considerable time and money and effort to have many sex partners…or possibly they’re just trying to fake it, and have invested a lot in the fakery. Either way, if another man DOESN’T buy into the notion that having a lot of female sex partners, that means that the first man has invested a lot into something that the second man doesn’t see as valuable…and that hurts.
