I had to Urban Dict both, so I’m purer than you.
Many celebrities have low self esteem for themselves or suffer from depression (Robin Williams). Becoming popular is a means of “getting high”, but that begins to fade and must be replaced with something else.
Photographs of her don’t do anything to me. But the testimony of some people who’d met her was that in person she was incredibly hot.
Also, you don’t get to be a Washington Intern unless you bring something to the table.
Anyway, most men can be lead around by the dick. Most men aren’t important enough that anybody would want to. Clinton chased after women: that’s the odd thing. He got caught out making a fool of himself: that’s normal.
Most men can be led, to some extent, by their dicks. But he was 50-something, and she was 22-something, and she wanted him. She wasn’t super attractive, but she wasn’t unattractive either. She was curvaceous and young and wanted him. This all has been touched on but one thing not mentioned yet is Hillary — c’mon now, Hillary isn’t close to being hot, so not only is there the physical draw towards Monica, but also the physical repulsion away from Hillary. That’s got to be a contributing factor here.

Your understanding of human willpower seems at odds with the understanding of social scientists.
Baumeister’s work hasn’t replicated well at all:
I had the same thought about self-destruction, death wishes and overdoses concerning Philip Seymour Hoffman and Heath Ledger. I don’t know if it’s a coincidence but reading Ledger’s wikipage, he was in a relationship with Naomi Watts whose father was road manager and sound engineer for Pink Floyd. He died of a heroin overdose at age 30.
If they felt a lot of psychological suffering in their youth, they could always hold out hope they would be happy once they had enough money, fame, accomplishment, friends, mates etc. But what if you get to the top of the mountain and you still hurt? Maybe that means the problem is you, you’re broken and the rest of your life will be suffering. In which case, self-destruction thru risky behavior or suicide start to seem like a reasonable option.
I suspect that in many such cases, they’re not irredeemably broken but are rather like a bulimic trying to cure his bulimia thru eating ever more. You can’t fill a gaping hole, only shrink it.
This was kind of what I was going to say as well, although I wouldn’t put it as “Hillary being ugly” but rather, “Hillary not being as attractive as Monica.” Bill’s sexual choice was either Hillary in her late 40s, or Monica in her early 20s. It’s not hard to see why he chose to have a fling with the latter.
I’m not a psychologist, but I’m going to play one for the duration of this post which is all IMHO.
Clinton’s wife could have been Miss America and he would have done the same thing. His “thing” with Monica was almost non-forced, non-threatening rape. Like all rape, it wasn’t about the sexual satisfaction, but the power trip, frustration (even anger) release and the demeaning of the victim.
Oral sex, no matter who’s performing it, is a power play between the recipient and the receiver. Clinton had Monica on her knees bowing before him. She had the power over when he orgasmed. The “stain” on her dress was mark of act, which Monica kept to replay the memory of the moment.
The cigar was another power play from Clinton. It was “giving her what wanted (full intercourse), but couldn’t have, because HE wouldn’t allow it”. Putting the cigar back in his mouth was showing her that he was in absolute control of the situation. +1 for Clinton!
Okay, back to being plain 'ol lingyi.
Another example of someone taking the ultimate “downer” happened today. Kate Spade who was a successful businesswoman committed suicide. She had it all, wealth, fame, family, but there was something within her psyche that may or may not have been known to others that caused her to end her life.
Please read the transcript of Monica Lewinsky’s testimony.
She went after him. She targeted him. Clinton did not in any way, shape or form “rape” her.
Your whole post is ridiculous and then some. It would also offensive to people who were actually raped.
The re-writing of the actual history of this old matter is nothing more than a political ploy from the right to deflect criticism away from Trump and his actions. It’s “whataboutism” with lies.
(One thing to always remember: How did the daughter of Orange County Republicans with so-so grades get a plum position as a White House intern? This is incredibly odd.)
I would phrase it that the Clinton marriage was more of a political partnership than a romantic relationship, at least after a while.
The idea was that Bill, who was charismatic and charming and obviously going places, partnered up with Hillary who was a political nerd. She would earn the money while he ran for office. Whether spoken or not, she looked the other way about his dalliances, as long as he didn’t get caught or as long as it could be winked at or covered up. Then he was going to become President, and she could start doing Hillarycare and implement her policies. All that “co-President” thing. Unfortunately, the petty and not-so-petty scandals that could be brushed off in Arkansas could not be in DC. And when Bill got caught with Monica the Paula Jones scandal could not be covered up anymore.
Hillary stuck with him - the political alliance continued - but the deal changed to getting Bill thru two terms as President, attempt to salvage what they could from his Presidency, and then it would be her turn to be President. So they made a hundred million from speeches and the Clinton Foundation, so neither of them ever had to work again, and she ran for a Senate seat, concentrated on fund-raising so that the Dems would be beholden to her, and then became SoS for foreign policy experience.
I don’t think Bill ever married her because she was hot. There was hardly any time in Bill’s life where he wasn’t surrounded by dozens of women who were more attractive, and younger, than Hillary. If he wanted a trophy wife, he would have married one of the beauty queens that he met. He didn’t, and he didn’t have to - he could have sex with them anyway, and while it isn’t exactly true that Hillary didn’t care, she could put up with it as long as everyone kept their mouths shut and didn’t threaten Bill’s or her political career.

Shodan
