I think this question is like trying to understand the muliverse theory. People try to give explanations that vaguely make sense and it doesn’t make sense and then physicist come in with all these equations but they’re not really sure and there’s a lot of unknowns but maybe somewhere someone knows the truth and the laymen have some sense of what’s going on but not really. Everyone’s probably better off just going back to complaining about adaher. But I’m still a newbie, so YMMV.

The passive voice is always there when mistakes are made.

In that case, perhaps what I should have said in my original annex is:
s[sub]N/sub = ½ A[sub]0 [/sub]Σ[sub]n=1 [/sub]A[sub]n[/sub] sin(2πnx/P + Φ[sub]n[/sub]) for positive integer N. Would’ve been a lot clearer.
