Why are there so few threads in this forum as compared to the other ones?
I don’t look at this forum every day; I only know clothy was banned because I happened to look on the right day. If the mods think it’s important enough to publicly announce a banning then why is that announcement deep-sixed so quickly? If this forum had as many threads as other forums a given thread would stick around longer. For example, will the ‘Charter Membership Expiration’ thread even last until 5/20?
Threads last as long as there is traffic. If you want a longer window, you can adjust the lag time with the little pull-down menu at the bottom of the forum page on the left.
I see threads on the front page of this forum that were last posted to on January 21, 2018.
At this moment, the thread announcing the banning is nine below this thread.
It’s probably your view window as silenus mentions. I believe default is last 2 days, but you can make it longer.
Yes, my view seems to default to 2 days, but I just extended it to a lot longer.
I have mine set to show threads from the beginning. I show 150 threads on the first page going back to January 21 of this year.
Huh? Learn something every day. :o I guess I always had it on the default value (2 days).
