Where do you stand on supporting a man who doesn’t just say “we should enforce immigration laws” but refers to immigrants as animals? And whose policies reflect this? Why do you support a man who promised cheaper health insurance for everyone without saying how he’d do this but ended up contributing nothing to the matter but some really impressive photos of him pretending to drive a truck?
I really don’t see anything Trump is doing as making America particularly great. What’s so great about rolling back environmental regulations 50 years? What’s so fine about white supremacists?
What’s your stance on L’Affaire Russe? Fake news? Trump done it but you don’t care? Everyone in the Trump campaign except Trump may be connected to Russia but he was too clueless to notice?
We do seem to run into that a lot here, and it seems to be one of the hallmarks of Conservative Logic these days.
Like the guy who buggered off because he would make random nonsensical statements and claim that because someone was mentioned in the bible and actually existed, it was proof that the entire bible was true. He got upset about how ‘stubborn’ we were by asking for proof of anything and expecting him to answer questions.
Us darned dirty stubborn bastards, asking for proof of assertions…
Actually there’s nothing wrong with keeping America’s interests at the forefront of one’s mind when working in international affairs.
The problem, of course, is that you have to actually have a damn clue about what you’re doing, which would probably preclude destroying America’s relationships with its allies, getting it into tariff wars, and eradicating its reputation and credibility abroad.
And of course it would also help not to be in thrall to a hostile foreign power.
This is where a pro-gun person says “Stop helping.”
Ya really think the US Army and NATO moved from .30-06 and .308 to “an 22 with a lot more powder”?
Ya really think that a .223/5.56mm round is just a .22 rimfire “with a lot more powder”?
Ya really think bore diameter and powder charge are the only determining factors in the terminal energy of a firearm?
Ya really think that taking a .50 Action Express, .50 GI, .500 GNR, .500 Maximum, etc, etc center mass has the same effect as a .50 BMG?
CMC fnord!
Since y’all are tearing everything else to shreds I figured I’d gnaw at this little chestnut of ignorance.
It’s basically the same as those champagne poppers, right? you pull the string and powder goes off and fires streamers out of the bottom, right? basically? gunpowder causes flying stuff…basically.
Which government policies are you talking about specifically? And where did you get that they “were designed to kill coal as a fuel”? Did you read that a bunch of congresspeople said that and where?
This is so at odds with what the actual occupant of the White House has consistently demonstrated, over and over again (both past and present), that I honestly don’t even know where to begin. So I’ll just start with-WHAT sense of humor? [I do have to chuckle with the “green” thing tho]
It’s like they see a completely different person, radically different. I have no words that can express my shock. And no, I do not find any of his schtick “fun”-I see a very real threat, to not only our nation, but to the world.
Yeah, that ‘deep and abiding love of the american worker’ business is absurd.
This is the man who has had a four figure number of lawsuits against him for non-payment of his contractors. I’m honestly surprised at this point that anyone does work for him. Hell, if I estimated that doing a job for him would cost $10,000, I’d insist on $15,000 up front with the option to return excess funds. NOT ‘he tells me what he’s paying and I return the excess’. Oh no no no. I tell him how much the work I did cost and return any excess above that. And I stop dead at $15k unless I get more in advance.
