Strangely enough, I don’t know anyone in Wisconsin who talks that way unless they are imitating how “comedians” :rolleyes: think they talk. It’s a stereotype that has outlived its source.

Speaking as someone who dated a woman in Wisconsin when I was in the Navy - just about everyone I met up there spoke like that.
