I have a document where the images I am placing keep going white/invisible. I can’t figure out a way to see them again. Why is Word doing this, and how do I keep it from doing it in the future?
Are the images ever visible? If not, and you merely have a bounding box (which is selectable), check this setting:
Tools > Options > View Tab > uncheck “Picture Placeholders”
bizarre… i already have that unchecked. I’m sure there is a picture there. If it matters, it’s in a text box.
Did you try switching views? One time someone sent me a doc with a big image at the end of it - i had the page for the image but not the image. If I switched between Normal view and Print view I could see the image.
nope, that didn’t work either.
