Why is Paris Hilton being talked about now? Oh, someone revived a thread from 2009. Why did someone feel that was necessary? An odd unfunny joke?

She actually makes a ton of money endorsing stuff. In 06-07 she made $22 mil from endorsements.

This is a funny document, her endorsements are on the last 2 pages.

That’s actually an exaggerated number. The document itself explicitly states they compiled the figures but in some cases couldn’t separate out promotional activities from other duties that weren’t paid separately. Still, there’s a lot of entries for showing up at events.

You tout her endorsements…but her endorsements come to her because of her “brand” - and the “Paris Hilton brand” is of a rich, spoiled, vapid…well, you do the math. It is my understanding that she is pretty articulate outside her persona…

I’m not sure how dumb she is outside her persona, but reading that smoking gun article, that is her testifying in court where she states she has never looked at a cell phone bill, she doesn’t even know who pays her phone bills or who receives them. Definitely rich, spoiled, out of touch.

Looking at that smoking gun article, she made $75,000 for Tribe Hyper Club Appearance, $35,000 for Toronto Club Appearance, $15,000 for Montreal Club Appearance, and $150,000 for Vegas Halloween Appearance.

She makes a shit-ton for showing up. Though that was for 2006-2007.
