On the one hand: pretty! On the other hand, the comment about Norway in that link makes one wonder about her intelligence and/or intellectual integrity.
But frankly, lack of diversity of news anchors is not high on my list of reasons why one shouldn’t watch FoxNews.
I want to see an interview with a conservative woman who really, really wanted a slot on Fox News – anywhere, any day, any time slot – who auditioned three times, maybe – and got rejected because she wasn’t young and attractive enough. I want to hear her complain bitterly about that, about how good her work experience, her conservative cred is, etc. Tell me the excuses they made, the lines they gave her. I want to see that.
For the same reason Romney was polled to have 0% black support? The Republicans and Fox are two parts of the same whole; it doesn’t make sense for someone to work for a group that hates them.

Blacks are raised on welfare, in ghettos, trapped in union run schools (prisons), and told that its better for them and that republicans and foxnews are trying to keep them from getting more free stuff just because they are black.
Some blacks are smart enough to think for themselves and realize its been the democratic policies of welfare, abortion, and unionized schools that is the new plantation. The black man has been beaten down and the reverends sharpton and jackson are laughing all the way to the rainbow bank.
Try this for once. Maybe foxnews does not have any black anchors because no QUALIFIED blacks are applying for the job. If you call the black anchors on MSNBC “qualified”, you cannot recognize racial hires. Thank you affirmative action.

Sorry to disappoint. But theres several black anchors/commentators at Fox. Scroll through the photos of the various news teams. Its about the same as CNN.
Theres also an entire Fox Latino channel.

“Swarthy and Balanced” doesn’t have the same panache.
It’s worse than that even. If Fox had any black anchors, viewers might actually think it WAS Obama. Them blacks all look alike, y’know. Blacks carry a higher-than-average risk of being Democrats and/or Muslims and/or Radicals and/or Marxists and/or Kenyans{ETA: See footnote}. And there’s no way for a viewer to decide (which Fox is all about letting their viewers do, after all), since they all look alike, y’know.
Therefore it would never do for a black anchor to appear on Fox. Quite logical, actually. :dubious:
