Geotool is a website that allows you to zoom in on anywhere on Earth. It shows cities, roads and buildings when you zoom down on every country except Israel. Why doesn’t it show anything in Israel?
Security, maybe? A Qassam missile was fired into Israel today from Gaza, despite the truce.
That just looks like the standard Google maps imagery to me. The high-resolution “Satellite” view is actually generated by aerial photography. Coverage is determined by whether a plane actually flew over the area in question taking pictures. Even large parts of the US aren’t covered - try zooming in to central New York State.
I just zoomed in and took a nice look at the Wailing Wall. Works fine for me.
Maybe it is banning United States IP addresses from zooming into Israel?
