And I thought the Cheeto in Chief had stated he wasn’t going to take the salary. Or did he walk that one back?
Either way, I don’t know how that affects Shodan’s comment. Irony, or stupidity? Difficult to say…

Still have all those nukes, and Trump is the one that is wondering why we are’nt using them more.
You don’t think that trump and his family will do just fine in a posh gold lined bomb shelter if he kicks off a nuclear war?
Mate I don’t spend much time on the computer, much prefer to be outdoors, so I have no clue how to do what you asked. TRY NINE.COM(.au???) I don’t know if you can access it from over there. If the money is spent on behalf of the candidate does not that mean it is for them? I don’t about PAC(MAN) money, but wasn’t it for her to use to get elected? (HILLARY’S ELECTION FUND)
Yeah mate but when he gets out of there, there will not be anyone to watch his shows. HE CRAVES ATTENTION, GOOD OR BAD IT DOES NOT MATTER TO HIM. BUT SOMETHING IN HIM NEEDS THAT ATTENTION. Who killed the USFL ? Great 30 for 30 doco by ESPN.
How many people have watched his show? THE PEOPLE of the USA have a chance to make him make good policy decisions, if they try. And no you do not have all those NUKES any more. CHECK OUT REAGAN AND GORBICHOV’S NDA.
I can access just fine.
I just cannot find your 700 billion dollar claim.
As that is a pretty significant portion of the US’s gdp, I am saying that there is no way that that information is true.
I would assume that you misheard this info. But unless you can come up with some sort of cite, I am going to say that you are 100% absolutely wrong on this.
according to this, she, along with her pacs, spent about 1.2 billion.
This is far, far, far short of your 700 billion claim.
Unless you can back that claim up, you are certainly in the wrong, no matter how you look at it.
I linked to it.
Oh, we don’t have those nukes anymore. Good to know. Putin knows this too, right?
I class an honest Pollie as someone who has the countries best interest at heart, not his or a corporation. Yes the idiot says stupid things (TRUMP), but who doesn’t? I am only HOPING that America can use his MASSIVE EGO to make him do right. In OZ I think that there is less than a handful of honest pollies. I want people power to MAKE THIS PLANET INTO EDEN RATHER THAN THE HELL IT IS DON’T YOU??? Oh, by the way every one who votes determines the validity of pollies honesty. Watch CITIZEN 4 and see how honest OBAMA is.
I did not say you had no NUKES only enough to destroy the planet 2 times over between you. But since the 70’s 80’s INDIA, PAKISTAN, CHINA AND NORTH KOREA have developed this evil tech, and once someone trows them everyone will.
Cheers thanks mate
seven hundred million, so sorry I made a mistake, lucky I am not GOD
Yeah, you have pretty much invalidated yourself as a source of useful information, what with your 700 billion dollar claim.
So, you want me to “Watch CITIZEN 4 and see how honest OBAMA is.” Is that a channel, a movie, a show? What will I learn from it? Is this one of the places where you have heard some of the claims you have made here?
I would hope that we could temper trump and the pubbies too, but it’s not gonna happen simply by appealing to his ego. If that were the case, he would have dropped out of the race in the first place.
From hillary’s record of public service from the time she left college (and also while she was in college), you can see that she did in fact have at heart, the best interest of all of her constituencies she has represented. Trump, not so much.
Well, since this thread has disintegrated into a crapfest (which is kinda to be expected, really, with the silly axiomatic OP), I will leave you with this as food for thought:
Thank you for backing down your claim by a few orders of magnitude there, that’s the sort of number that is actually possible. If you had done that several posts ago, rather than doubling down on your claim, that would have saved both of us time.
Now, do you have a cite for that? That one benefactor gave her over half of her funding? I am still not able to find a cite that coincides with that. You are the one making the claim here, you are the one that needs to back it up.
To anyone who doesn’t agree with me, good, there should always be a difference of opinion. I just see an opportunity to make this world a better place. I think you may be all manner of reactions at his decisions. But I think that if everyone in USA told trump that he could be the best POTUS ever, HE WOULD CRAVE THAT ATTENTION MORE THAN ANY OTHER, and would try to make it a reality even if he had to fight the party politics to do it. Anyway I am going to check my other posts and go for a swim at the beach. Ha Ha it is Summer here in paradise. I hope I have made people think? A SAFE AND HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU AND ALL OF YOURS.
What you linked to was the New Yorker’s critisim of the “The Flight 93 Election” article, written by someone who took the name of a roman who sacrificed himself in battle, and as the new yorker article points out, he took that name to avoid any personal repercussion. Not off to a good start. To be fair, I did not read the whole thing, as it is quite long, and not very interesting or relevant at all. If you would like to point out what parts of it you found significant, that would be appreciated.
Now, assuming you meant to link to this, where hillary is compared to a hijacker, and trump voters to the people storming the cockpit, I find myself disagreeing with that analogy. Seriously, “a Hillary Clinton presidency is Russian Roulette with a semi-auto. With Trump, at least you can spin the cylinder and take your chances.” sounds like a very fair and reasoned point.
Now, on the other hand, I can see how intellectuals can be fore trump. I will likely personally benefit from his administration, assuming that he doesn’t start any major wars, or get us nuked or something.
I am white, male, straight, cis, middle aged, raised lower middle class and heading to upper middle myself. A republican administration could ensure that I get top bunk. The problem is, that a trump admin makes it likely that my top bunk will sink along with the rest of the ship.
I would rather be a part of a positive sum game, than be winning in a negative sum game. Not only does that make me feel better about my conscience, and not making a buck off the misery of others, but it is also more sustainable.
This.
I do think he’ll be a good President though not a great one and he and his appointees will be able to make beneficial changes that will affect the USA for decades to come, especially on SCOTUS.
I held no brief for Trump during the campaign. I would have preferred a different Republican nominee and once he had secured the nomination I despaired of an election victory for the party.
Like millions of others I was quite wrong. Trump pulled off the seemingly impossible, a Republican White House, Senate, House and the prospect of a conservative majority on the Supreme Court. I have to respect that achievement and the man behind it.
The liberals underestimate Trump at their cost. They were so busy laughing at him that they forgot the first rule of politics: don’t expect your opponent to win the election for you.
And now, with barely a halt to lift their jaws from the floor the liberals commence the mockery and laughter anew. I suspect that’s just the way Trump likes it. He can get on with the important stuff while they bust a gut at the size of his hands.
Which has nothing to do with what I asked you.
Here, let me help you get back on track to answering the question I asked earlier:
(post shortened)
“Childish”? What does childish mean? That he doesn’t act like you do? That he doesn’t think like you do? That he doesn’t follow a form of Groupthink? Trump is just as qualified as Hillary, or Obama. Look it up in the U.S. Constitution.
Trump-as-president doesn’t exist yet.
Hating seems to be the national pastime. Hating President-elect Trump has become a fulltime hobby of the Democrat collective. I’ll wait for Trump’s cabinet to be seated, AND I’ll wait to see how well Trump works with Congress, and vice versa.
