I like Delphica because she writes in an interesting way about all sorts of things that are happening in her life. Reading her Live Journal is entertaining and often informative.
She convinced me to keep my Screen Name when I was considering changing it.
She has very pretty eyes and a smile that makes you want to smile, too. She is, in fact, a babe, even though she probably would deny it. But she is. The Dave-Guy says so.
She is a Buffalo Bills fan.
She and I can share knowing cyber-glances about Western New York things that the rest of the world cannot know and appreciate as we do.
She understands cats (to the extent that a mere human can understand these inscrutable, not to mention weird, creatures).
She writes funny observations about her cat.
She’s nice. I mean, she’s pleasant, not pathologically nice, or pathetically nice. She has a way of making you feel like you were just the person she wanted to run across right then.
She has helped us feel better about Sakura’s college selection process, and has given us help and valuable advice.
I think Delphica is one of the coolest women around. Why? Well, partly for the reasons named above, but partly because she’s one of the few people who, IRL, don’t think that love for the Harry Potter books is totally bonkers, who keeps trying to convince me that I need to play the Harry Potter Card Game online with her, and who makes me feel better about myself through her example.
Ooooh, I like Delphica too! Though I don’t know her very well. She was going to send me a LJ code, but Jadis got there first. Delphica offered to help me if I had any trouble figuring out how to work the LJ, or if the code I had just didn’t work at all. I have to say, she seem like a very likeable person.
I loooove Delphica. And not because she’s so pretty and has an adorable voice and does that really funny Buffalo accent and knows everything good to know about children’s lit and likes cats and has fluffy hair and tells the best stories ever either.
I looooove Delphica because she’s full of surprises. Every time I see her she surprises me by lighting a cigarette. Every time!!!
