Golf clap.

Okay thanks, **Q.E.D.[//b] and H3Knuckles. I’ll propose one of those for post #61.
danceswithcats: eeewwwww.
Speaking of groupers…
Q: What’s the difference between a grouper and a SDMB mod?
A: One’s a scum-sucking bottom feeder, and the other is
caught?
Lotta good that’ll do me; some days I don’t get my own posts. . . .
In Soviet Union, cultural references get you.
Has anyone else ever seen this many mods in one thread?
And fercryinoutloud, would somebody get Frank a beer? Getting beat to the punch twice in fifteen minutes has gotta suck.
We have a mod named Colibri??
I don’t recall a thread where so many mods commented. Maybe they’re trolling for groupies. Of course I would think a sign that a mod has really arrived would be if he/she had his/her own stalker. I think I’ll start following Gaudere around, now that she is an administrator.
So heres to Colibri
The mods very model
I thought Frank was the mod model. I guess that was last year.

No, **Frank ** is the very model of a modern major moderator.
OK, Phase One is complete, we’ve got them all in the same thread! And now…what was Phase Two, again? Shit. Pass the bong.
Now you, me and BJMoose leap out of the rabbit. Catching the moderators not only by surprise, but completely unarmed!
Pass it back, no more for you.

Okay, but this time someone else gets to be the rabbit’s patoot. I’m tired of 'luci plastering his cheeky bum all over my face. You’d think just once he’d misaim and prang himself on an antler, but noooo.
On second thought, count me out. I know how vicious these critters are. I’m not going anywhere near a mod unless he’s unarmed and unlegged.
cards: the mods are trolling for groupies?? I thought trolling was verboten on this board. Somebody should tell a mod.
Wait, that won’t work.

And in some cases, untongued.
Just like a mod.

And he never calls, he never writes…
Hey, this has been a hoot and a holler! We should pit a Mod/Admin at least once a week! Kinda keep the Luminous Ones grounded, ya know?
I don’t know, my groupies aren’t that great. Always playing hard to get, pretending they don’t know who I am. Even just chasing one of them down to give them an autograph can be a real hassle, what with all the yelling and the pepper spray.
No, I’ve gotta say the groupies have been a bit of a let down, so far.
::Gropes Giraffe.::
Oops, sorry. You said “Groupies,” not “gropies.”
Nevermind.
I never knew hummingbirds were so bloodthirsty.
You’ve clearly never come between one and its feeder. Nor watched two of them do battle over a female or a feeder (just for the record, hummingbirds may be the only species who will fight each other more fiercely over food than mates, at least in my experience. The females, too).
Why is Colibri a moderator?
They had a lottery. He lost.

Nope, unfortunately the only ones I’ve ever seen were sick ones brought into a rehab facility where I volunteered a long time ago. Even though they were obviously in the area at that time I’ve never seen them in the wild.
How would they do against a roadrunner?

I don’t know. I’ll ask my dad if he’s ever seen the two species interact in the back yard.

Since I’ve seen hummers chase off hawks and macaws (admittedly they were probably more annoyed than scared) I don’t think a roadrunner would have a chance.

Yeah! What’s with that phenomena? You see smaller birds chasing crows all the time. Are they just annoyed?(the crows)
