Why is curlcoat allowed to troll on here?

Lucky for you!

Ah, but they (or at least torie’s husband) are still paying payroll taxes that go to support unemployment, disability, and social security. So, essentially torie’s husband, by virtue of being employed and paying payroll taxes, regardless of their household income, is contributing to curlcoat’s income. Who’s getting the free ride again?

Well if she’s collecting benefits, beyond what she paid, which she will if she keeps collecting Social Security, or maybe already has since she doesn’t keep track and wouldn’t know.

The question is if she’s so against people collecting benefits beyond their taxes why isn’t she careful not to do it herself? It’s like a pacifist who goes around punching people.

It’s a little bit more like an angry idiot regurgitating talking points and bile.
Six of one, half dozen of the other…

They way she posts … it would be about 25 pages.

And she’d be replying to posts two days old and pretending the ones that pose difficult questions don’t exist.

Win.

Quit trolling, Gibbler.

OK, I thought, I’ll bite. Let’s see the case for the prosecution.

I click on the first of your links. It takes me to the first post in a 45 page thread. That first post is not by curlcoat.

Seriously, dude, if you want people to weigh the evidence then link to curlcoat’s offending posts, not the whole damn thread. (The second link is 46 pages long.) Life is too short to spend it trawling through enormous threads.

What, toes first?

Isn’t that how everyone does it?

Uhh, no.

C’mon over here, I’ll show you. . .

That’s the point. Every post by CC in both those threads (and she has over 3 times as much as anyone else in those threads) are the offending ones. Have fun!

PS: They are only that big because of CC, by the way. The first one has 2200+ replies, yes…and 202 of them are CCs. The majority of the others are either made arguing against her or remarking what a dumb bitch she is. Same with the other huge thread (in which she actually has 343 replies in).

I’ve found that when approached reasonably, Curlcoat can be a really interesting poster. When snarked at, she snarks right back. I know, right? What a surprise. Maybe she’d seem like less of a troll of ya’ll would simply ask honest questions about her views instead of making knee jerk assumptions about them . I disagree with some of her politics, but that doesn’t make her a troll. More of a pessimist. Curlcoat’s good people.

This is the most laughable thing I’ve ever heard. You have obviously never debated with her in a topic where she was wrong and denied all and any possibilty she was wrong even when shown to be factually wrong.

Hyperbole is the best thing ever!! Unless you actually meant that. If that is the case, truly you’ve lead a charmed life.

I’ve seen it, and it’s certainly frustrating. Doesn’t make her a troll - a word which is rapidly being rendered meaningless through overuse. Maybe if the tone of the posts containing the facts was changed, the discussion would be milder. As always, ymmv.

Wow! I’m about as clueless a poster as can be and even I suspect that might be a whoosh. Maybe.

Kimmy Gibbler (Andrea Barber) was as close to an entertaining castmember as Full House had. She was 15 and surrounded by supposedly professional actors and funny comedians. Just goes to show what a script and a performer who wasn’t coasting until the next payday could do, though the quality of her performance is reflected by the acting work she’s done since, ie: none. OTOH, I knew she’d grow into that face.

AFAIK, none of the UHC proposals include payroll tax increases. They do include income tax increases, which people like torie probably don’t pay. Yet she supports UHC, which to people like her, is getting something for nothing.

Who’s getting the free ride again?

She’s not a troll, but she’s not “good people” either. You may like her, but I guarantee it would take very little effort for you to get on the wrong side of her and eat those words. I tried to be nice to her, and I regret the attempt.

Do you have employer provided health care? The government, I’m sorry, the taxpayers, are subsidizing that in a big way as well, by exempting your health costs as a taxable expenditure for you and your employer. Do you feel like you’re mooching at all?
