What if Trump really was never on Epstein Island? Some journalist on live TV should ask him if he just wasn’t rich enough to be invited.
That would be popcorn worthy, but I think travel to the island wasn’t the only avenue for funny business.
Epstein was accused of sex crimes in Florida and New York, as well as the U.S. Virgin Islands.
I think Trump is above the law regardless of the location any possible sex crime he took part in.
He might have been, but also that would just indicates he maybe had sex with underaged girls, it does not prove it. Again, IMHO there is no smoking gun at all in those files, Just innuendoes.
IMHO, the administration is terrified of the whatever is in those files. Maybe not a smoking gun, but there is something in there they are desperate to keep under wraps. Otherwise, why all the lies and obfuscation?

It is, but then why have the FBI combing the files for Trump’s name? Why meet with a convicted human-trafficker and have her moved to a minimum security facility that she isn’t eligible for under federal guidelines? Why the obvious pr feint of having grand jury materials unsealed when those aren’t the relevant documents? Why did the AG say that the Epstein file was ‘on her desk’ and then later claim that no such file exists?
It’s obvious that there is something in the files that can’t easily be shrugged off. A money trail, or an incriminating photo, or records, notes, etc..…something that I doubt will ever see the light of day.
I just hope there are copies somewhere with the relevant stuff that hasn’t been redacted, so at least future historians (if any are ever able to tell the truth of this era) can examine them.
Or because they need a court to authorize release, or stuff in there could point to trump, even if it falls short of proof.
I think we know the answer to that one by the preponderance of the evidence.

Maybe Trump personally mentioned that she should be given better than normal treatment in prison, or maybe it was ordered by someone who knows he would want that.

The scandal won’t be if Trump cuts short her 20 year sentence. It will be all the other first time prisoners who don’t get clemency despite even longer sentences.
Did Bondi, in fact, send in a large team of agents to scour the files for any mention of trump? If true, that sounds like tampering with evidence.

My Trump cultist friend is sharing a meme that quotes that from the NY Post. She absolutely believes Trump is innocent, and she absolutely believes Maxwell is telling the truth. Nothing to see here! Move along!
I heard a radio caller proclaim that Trump was hiding the files for the good of the country, in an effort to avoid the disruption it would cause if so many prominent individuals were named. She was certain that Trump himself was not implicated and that he was not motivated in the slightest by personal issues.
Yes, altho this is certainly plausible, I would like to see a cite on this.
Given that 1) Trump was a member of Epstein’s circle, 2) would have had front-line reporting as a member of the community during Epstein’s first run-in with the authorities, 3) had every chance to learn even more through Acosta about what had been learned then, and 4) was the Executive when Epstein was arrested and charged by the Executive Branch, the second time around, and again had full access to all of the information…. It seems peculiar that he would go out campaigning with promises to release all the info, if it contained information that was dangerous to the country.
I wrote in another thread, recently, about how we might imagine some young fan of P Diddy refusing to accept that his hero did such horrible things, and invents this whole complicated story about how Diddy was replaced with a body double and it’s the double who was doing all this…and so on. Cognitive dissonance produces a fever dream theory to protect itself from the plain truth.
This lady’s theory feels like it’s in similar territory.
I think that will most likely be the case. The flight logs were released months ago and it shows Trump flying on the plane but just within the U.S.
I believe that even if the full files are released unredacted it won’t amount to enough proof to satisfy anyone. Just being on a plane doesn’t make someone guilty, even Donald Trump.
Of course that’s the problem with pandering to conspiracy theorists. Even if you tell them the truth they aren’t going to believe you.
