Well, not quite. Non-Arab immigrants are not eligible for citizenship or even for permanent residency in the Gulf states. They South Asian population is there to do the jobs Arabs won’t do, but without the promise of a path to citizenship.

Well, sort of. There are tons of Western (mostly US and British) expats serving in the armed forces of the various Gulf states, but they don’t have the opportunity to obtain citizenship either.
They can become permanent residents, in most cases, but they’re not eligible for oil transfer payments or state health insurance.
But RaleighRally wasnt even adressing the granting of citizenship to immigrants, just their presence there. Citizenship is another issue.
It seems some bloke in Norway has the same views of immigrants as Raleigh Rally, but with a rather more extreme idea of how to deal with government policy.
I had the same thought when after having followed this thread, the mentioning of the key phrase “cultural marxism”, which was first introduced to me my by **RaleighRally **in a former thread, in some report about the Oslo assassin’s ideology, pinged my radar. Wonder what **RaleighRally **has to comment about this tragedy.

Well, I notice that RaleighRally has stopped posting in this thread and has instead decided to post in the Pit thread on the Oslo shooter.
Not surprising, but, to be as polite as I can, it is in remarkably poor taste to try to pass the suspect off as an “Oriental” and to try to distance himself from the perpetrator while embracing the same ideals.
The Dalai Lama has similar ideals in terms of wanting to preserve the ethnic and cultural heritage of Tibetans.
There is no reason why there should be a double standard where Europeans are criticised for this but it is accepted as normal for Asian or African countries.

Well, when a Tibetan goes on a shooting rampage and the Dalai Lama explains that the perpetrator was actually a sub-Saharan African with hair dye and colored contact lens, you can claim the Dalai Lama does the same thing.
In other words, when Tibetans do bad things, the Dalai Lama doesn’t claim those Tibetans are fakers claiming to be Tibetan to make them look bad.
You don’t see the difference?
