Why is my contact lens doing this?

Over the past few days, the contact lens in my right eye has had a tendency to get “stuck” on my upper eyelid. The result is that the lens is still covering the iris but it’s off-center and produces a blurry image. If I lift up the eyelid away from the lens, the lens goes back into place and everything’s fine. About the only thing I can see about the eyelid itself is a small stye at about the middle on the edge of the lid itself. Now, it would seem that would be the source of the problem, but I’ve had styes like that before without any problem.

So, could the stye really be “grabbing” the contact lens and pulling it away from the normal spot?
