It’s true. Anakin chokes Padme out of uncontrolled anger. He believes she has led Obi-Wan to him to betray him. He doesn’t intend to kill her, but chokes her for too long.

It can’t be true that Vader’s suit tailoring is intercut with the birth of the twins, given that she’s already dead. Something’s fishy here. Am I going to actually see a midichlorian give birth?

She’s not dead after being choked, but she pretty much suffers enough trauma from Anakin’s attack to send her on her way. She manages to have the children shortly before her death. She dies with Leia in her arms.
