I have a yahoo email account. When composing an email, most of the screen is unused and blank, leaving me with a small box in which to write. If my email is more than a few lines, you cannot see it all.
What gives?

If you put your cursor on to bar between the top and bottom panes, you can increase the size of the lower pane. You can also hide the pane to the right of your email, effectively increasing the area you can see.
I too have a small box to compose yahoo mail and a large blank space to the right. I have not figured out any way to change it using the suggestions above.
OK, I’m composing an email right now. There is an area where I can hit B for bold, I for italic, U for underline, etc. See it? To the far right, after text alignment, lists, and indentation, is Hide Stationery which widens available space.
The stationery area sometimes shows ads, but switches during a reply.
Apparently I was using an old Yahoo mail. Near the top there was a button that said “Try the new Yahoo mail”. I clicked it and the text areais much larger, and the instructions above make sense.
