Why mommy is a Democrat.

http://littledemocrats.net/

Admit it, this is how you guys see the world.
Also, I like how the Democrat family is missing a daddy.

Any particular significance to the fact that the Democrats are squirrels?

Any significance in the illustration on the “Democrats make sure we’re always safe” page being of a big, bad elephant?

Who is about to squish a hapless negro?

Geez, that looks like a heavy handed piece of propaganda. For non-confrontational why to the show in the sample pages Mommy protecting the little ones from a Elephant of all things. I think Non-confrontational would be a generic car or maybe a Cat.

This is comedy of the highest order. And it also makes the indoctrination process that much easier.

I’ve said it before in another thread – political indoctrination gives me the creeps – from either side.
I wish I could find this one. It’s partisan, i’m sure, but it doesn’t look like indoctrination:

… but I don’t want my federal government to make me share my toys. They’re my toys! Does that mean I can’t be a Democrat? In a greater sense, I don’t want my federal government to be my mommy.

I dunno. Is this how you guys see the world?

This is stupid shit coming from either side, but come from both sides it certainly does. Is someone attempting to claim moral high ground on the “indoctrination” thing? Again???

Bored now.

Damn, that’s one ugly squirrel. That’s why she can’t keep a man and I think the rest just flows from there.

Well, considering the “About the Book” section…

…i’d have to say yes. :stuck_out_tongue:

Seriously, political indoctrination is bad and pretty cowardly of the parents.

But don’t you understand, you poor little boy? You need to be mommied from cradle to grave. You absolutely need to be. And if you don’t acknowledge this, why, that’s the very proof of how much you need it.

You can’t tell me that Ted Kennedy hiding under your bed is not a terrifying thought.

Yep that is just as bad, if not worse. It is sad and pathetic from either side.
I think I’ll write a book, why you should be a moderate and not vote loyally for either side but vote your own mind.
I have never voted a straight ticket in my life. I am usually mildly appalled by people who proudly say they vote straight Republican or Democrat.

Jim

Yep. Silliness and partisanship; I’d hate for my kids to see that.

Daniel

Maybe the person who wrote the quote “not just for children” didn’t get the joke. I wouldn’t consider this to be intended for children. The quote should have read “not for children”. Big ass whoosh if you ask me.

I think I know why she can’t keep a man: wrong species. :stuck_out_tongue:

The only appropriate word here is “gag”.

We did this very topic not two months ago, in this thread: I pit Jeremy Silber for helping parents brainwash children politically.

First the two GD threads barely six weeks apart asking what’s up with Socks the Clintons’ cat, and now this. Neither of them is the sort of subject I would have expected to stimulate any serious attention around here more than once at most, frankly. Maybe we’re just suffering collective memory loss?

:shudder:

ew, ew, ew, ew, EWWWWWWWW.
