Hello Dopers,
I just thought I would drop a note, to let those who may be curious, know where I have been and what’s been going on.
It has been a difficult week. My last “blood-relative” aunt passed away this week. The funeral was Tuesday. She died from chronic emphesyma. She was 67.
I am still working my arse off. This third shift schtick is really draining the life out of me. I usually get something to eat after I get off work and go directly to bed. I am currently applying for better jobs, elsewhere. I have several leads on more delivery jobs, which is something I know I enjoy doing.
I haven’t really had much time to play on the MB lately. I am always thinking of good things to post, while I’m at work but by the time the workshift is done, I can barely remember what day of the week it is, let alone thread topics. Unfortunately, doing what I do, I can’t jot down notes as thoughts come to me.
I got a new 56k modem for my old computer and installed it. Unfortunately, I don’t think it is going to work as I had hoped. (I am on a different pc writing this) I think because my old PC has only a 75 MHz Pentium inside, it can’t cope with the high-speed transmission of data. I’m no computer tech, but I think this is kind of like trying to put an engine from a Peterbilt semi into a VW bug, lol. Oh well, I will figure something out.
I finally got my car back from the garage last week. It ended up costing 400 less than originally estimated, so that’s pretty cool. It is running very good now.
There’s my MPSIMS for the week. Looks like I have missed a lot since I have been gone. I see some flame wars and such have erupted. 
I will try to bring some more fun topics to the board, as soon as I can. I see my “Lost Childhood Part Two” in IMHO has been doing well. I didn’t know anyone else even remembered “Wacky Packages.” 
Hang in there guys and gals. MSK Hasn’t forgotten about you. I could sit here all day and read/post, but I must go do my laundry and other chores while I can.
