What reality are you living in? Have you forgotten how many tinfoil-hat accusations were leveled against Clinton from day one of his administration and even before he took office? The point is that Bush – uniquely in history, AFAIK – cut taxes at the start of a war. We have a whopping deficit now, and there is no way to reduce it without raising taxes. That is not a matter of opinion.

It is a fact that taxes were cut. Whether or not the deficit needs to be reduced by raising them again is a matter of opinion.
