Ok, I’m not proud to admit that I saw bits and pieces of the Grammys, but one thing has stuck in mind and I can’t get it out. Why in the world was Hulk Hogan there?! Has he done/contributed anything to the entertainment industry in the past fifteen years? Help me please to understand this.
Thanks.
He had a brief revival in pro wrestling about 3 years ago, but I would guess he was there more as a friend to a lot of musicians.
Remember that whole “Rock n’ Wrestling” thing circa 1985? That was him. He’s a bass guitar player, has been since he was a teenager. Had he not gotten into wrestling, he probably would have gotten into rock and roll instead.
Since I would have only been two years old in 1985
I don’t quite remember the* rock n’ wrestling * thing. It blows my mind that even if he was a friend of some famous musicians, they’d invite them to such a huge event. For instance, can you imagine if a person won a Grammy and then right as the camera panned to them there was Hulk Hogan sitting right beside you? Granted a lot of people would be talking about you winning a Grammy, but I would think there would also be a lot of people thinking to themselves: “why in the hell is he sitting next to Hulk Hogan?”
His hottie daughter (something Hogan) is some kind of a young pop singer. Perhaps she was up for something and he was there to beat up the other nominees…I mean, support her?
Yeah, Brooke Hogan (the latest young hottie treacle-pop singer) is the Hulkster’s daughter, so I’m sure he was there to support her.
Oh yeah!! I forgot about that hot little package! She sang the anthem at the Tampa Bay Lightning playoff games last year.
So RumMunkey, which do you think will happen first: Brooke Hogan wining a Grammy, or the Tampa Bay Lightning playing in another playoff game?
