I’m a member of DoMeBo and I hate the direction this board has taken recently, but in this case, I Love Me, Vol. I is wrong and Marley23 is right. Contentless threads have almost always been closed. Plenty of threads have been closed based on the direction the conversation took, and that thread pretty quickly did become a DoMeBo discussion. And there really wasn’t much else to say about the OP. There just wasn’t a conversation there. That’s always been a recipe for a swiftly closed thread. The fact that it wasn’t even an original contentless non-discussion starter, but was copied from another board might not have been reason enough alone to close the thread, but it made the thread even more worthless, and so even less likely to be dealt with by an admonition or another move. Closing it was the right decision. It should have been closed by Gfactor the first time.
