Because it seemed to be a general “Happy St. Patrick’s Day” thread, and we already had one. That’s all.
Ah. I just saw Cajun Man’s post, right after mine, which was the OP for the thread.

Boy, am I confused. Your link goes to a thread that isn’t closed, isn’t yours, and isn’t about the weather. And I can’t find any such thread. Either the mods are intervening or you’re crazy.
Looks like Scribble’s thread wsa merged into the other St. Patrick’s Day thread.
