There are better places where we all can discuss this without generating revenue for Creative Accounting.

Now you are catching on. That’s all this thread is doing. I’m guilty of it as well. I stopped reading certain poster’s postings (can’t mention names here, only in the pit for some reason, but just to be clear, these posters are not necessarily on my special list), because that’s all it does. Generate views, start squabbles, and inevitably end in the wrong poster being banned.
If mental illness or suspected trolling were a qualification, this board would be rid of some of its most prolific posters. But we can’t have that.
Oh, and for the record, the long hair comment was a joke. I think I said that in my posting. Unless of course you have a star of david on your chest. Then, on the train! I would also very much like to see an answer to this question, Fenris. No period of suspension? Especially for such a longstanding member of the Board? It feels completely like the decision was made to ban and then a scrabbling around for reasons was carried out after the fact.
Beautifully put. And I’m presuming that’s the true reason for this decision. Sheer embarrassment at everyone seeing how bizarrely spiteful one of your administrator can be when they think no-one’s watching. This decision shames the entire administration of this board.
Yeah well, at the risk of this seeming like a crusade, I have read many of Tubadiva posts around and about, and it seems to me she takes pride in being somewhat unreasonable. I can’t help but be reminded of the female protagonist from “One Foot in the Grave”
I also don’t see it as too much of a coincidence that her user name should include DIVA…from here, diva = primadonna.
I think it is very interesting that you saw it in such a way. I saw it more as someone taking an insult and wearing it as a badge of honor, precisely because it isn’t true, to take the sting out of it. Obviously our mileage varies here.

I’ve seen and smelled some bullshit on these boards, but that stinks more than most.
I interpret his signature much in the same way Zabali_Clawbane does a few posts back: TubaDiva was a jerk to him in a PM, and he thought it was funny to shine a spotlight on it. There’s no way that you can call that jerkish without also acknowledging that TubaDiva’s message was something she shouldn’t have been saying.
And no, the quote does not acknowledge that he’s primarily here to attack and annoy. That claim is bullshit.

To clarify: I don’t care about what TubaDiva said to Seven. I don’t think it was particularly jerky and I think the admins should be allowed to say stuff like that to people if they want. But if they’re going to say stuff like that, they need to suck it up when they get quoted. Either Seven’s not a jerk or TubaDiva is. Take your pick.

So around 9 hours and more than 100 posts. It seems to be one of three things, either they’re all asleep, damn slow to read and respond or are ignoring us. Which do you think is most likely?
Good to see that our venerated overlords take an active part in discussions on this board and the moderation there of and care about feedback.
