Why won't my goatee grow back?

Every once in a great while, I’ll shave off my goatee (Van Dyke, actually) for a change of pace, and to help clear up the zits that occasionally show up under there. It’s usually grown back in its familiar form by the end of the week, week and a half at the most. So on New Year’s (Jan 3rd, actually), I shaved. It’s been a good 11 days and it’s only just approaching its normal, full grown length. But the weirder thing is this: it seems like only about 2/3rds of the hairs have grown back. Some of the other 3rd are shorter, like trying to grow back; but there’s just not as many hairs growing anymore. What’s up? Any ideas?

thanks

By installing a Trojan Horse on your PC I now have those missing beard hairs. For a reasonable sum of money (PayPal accepted) I will release them back to your face. Otherwise…well look in the mirror.

  1. hair grows slower in winter

  2. a change/decline in testosterone can also cause facial hair growth to slow
