Why won't videos load in my Foxnow app?

I got a Kindle Fire as an early Christmas gift to occupy my time in the hospital. Netflix works great, and I could be happy with just that, but I want to catch up on The Orville.

To do that I need the Foxnow app. I’ve downloaded it and gone through signing into my cable provider, etc. But when I try to watch an episode of anything, all I get is the spinning circle indicating that it’s loading.

I know that it’s not a WiFi issue since Netflix works perfectly. I’ve restarted the pad and deleted and reinstalled the Foxnow app but the problem remains.

Are any of you experiencing anything like this? Do you have a fix?

Never mind. They’re loading now. It must have been a problem on their end.

The FOXNow app sucks. If you’re new to it or haven’t used it in a while, it takes forever to load before you can watch videos. I have issues with it on my Kindle Fire and my Fire Stick.

I agree. In fact I find the entire Kindle Fire interface to be non-intuitive and confusing.

I’ve been trying to catch up on The Orville and every so often it hangs and I have to reboot the pad. This only happens with FoxNow. HBONow, for example, works great.
