Wil Wheaton's Star Trek TNG reviews

Perhaps you mean “intriguing?”

From his FAQ:

Is that anything like the Dopers fawning over “Weird Al” Yankovic lurking on the SDMB? :wink:

This blog’s for you (the first part, anyway).

Actually, he didn’t rip on it at all - he made fun, but gave it a B+ and said it was the first decent episode they did.

Wheaton’s writing is entertaining, but savaging first-season TNG is about as challenging as baby-seal clubbing, only the seals are cute and sympathetic.

And so where does that leave savaging Wesley Crusher?

Excuse me, what would God need with a paycheck?

(Yeah, it’s the wrong ‘generation’. I never pass up a bad joke.)

Come now. Nobody believes this nonsense. Since when is Fark moderated?

/If it were, pointless slashies would be removed.
//Subjunctive 4 evah!

So brilliant I had to quote it too :smiley:

the little cheesedog aint coming here after this

He didn’t really savage it, he saw the good where it was and brought it forth for us :slight_smile:
