See Opal’s election thread for the origin of…
Yeah, and I would vote for a guy that’s gonna liberalize me out of a job eventually.
But let’s have some fun here.Anybody ever chain themselves to a tree?

Lawrence wrote the quote in http://boards.straightdope.com/ubb/Forum4/HTML/005823.html
I do sorta agree with Lawrence, there are some off the cuff people here, but I do have respect for both parties (Republicans & Democrats), we are living in the greatest times man has ever seen, and we do live in the greatest country on the planet. So what my point is, is that our forefathers created a system of society which has worked (look at Russia), and the Republicans and Democrats are part of our system (devoloped by our forefathers) which has worked!
So in a way, it doesn’t bother me if Bush or Gore gets in office, but I do think Gore would be better (i.e. to maintain the Status Quo). Bush would shake things up too much, and having a Republican majority in Congress
and a Republican President is not a good idea. They go nutz!

I’m waiting for the Jeffersonian Anti Federalist party to be renewed!!
I almost wish that were true about GW shaking things up Michael, but I’m afraid I don’t think it is, we’ve become more and more a two party/one policy system. Our freedoms are getting rarer because of more dependence on federal intervention, rather than personal responsibility.
How did you do on your ‘Diff. Eq’ and what was that course??? I kept wondering about that…differential equivalence? Different Esquires… different equestrians?? Is this a horse school???
“It’s hard to avoid reading because ever wheres we go, reading is there.”
It was Differential Equations (Anti-Pro) most people would find this boring but, I make it fun. I think I aced my test on Wednesday (however I don’t hold a candle to my dad in math, his ideas are in use in string theory, nuclear weapon yield (ours), nuclear reactors, nuclear safety systems (in the 1970’s he was the top ranked Nuclear Physicist in the world!) anyways…im on spring break now.

Anti pro: Yeah, jefferson!I want another presidential candidate who is a Deist!
Masterson: Stick to the topic. You are either a pinko or a pinko basher.
Yeah, but then the NCAA caught wind of that atom-shaving scandal and banned him from the tournament for the next five years.
Voted Rookie of the Year in MPSIMs and the Pit, along with Best One-liners.
And I don’t plan on keeping this as my sig for long, just until the winning buzz wears off.

Hello and welcome to the 2000 Niels Bohr Open. It’s a sunny day here in Los Alamos, where thirty of the world’s top physicists have gathered to compete for the most coveted award in all science: The Golden TOE.
First up will be Tsatsumaya, from Case Western. He’s chosen a very difficult opening, the Kip Thorne superstring variation, but he looks to be in good form. His arm is racing across the whiteboard, but wait! Oh, no – he can’t cancel the infinities! And Tsatsumaya is out of the competition!
Next up will be Jorgensen of Caltech, but first, a word from GE…
…but when you get blue, and you’ve lost all your dreams, there’s nothing like a campfire and a can of beans!
Doesn’t Michael Masterson seem like he could be Phaedrus’ son? I mean, the constant inane bragging is just unbelievable. “Phaddy, Jr.” It does have that certain ring to it.
