I collect horrible, totally inappropriate Christmas CDs. I thought Jessica Simpson would be the bottom of the barrel this year when what to my wondering eyes should appear but this gem: Hung for the Holidays
On the South Park episode Merry Christmas Charlie Manson! Charlie Manson sang:
Holidays are that special time when we laugh and sing and feel warm and cozy.
Forget about being angry for a day.
Remember how it felt to be a child, opening presents on Christmas morning?
That’s the way that we should all feel now.
So I say, happy, happy, happy, holy, happy, happy, happy, happy holidays!
(Happy, happy, happy, holy, happy, happy, happy, happy holidays!)
Happy Kwanzaa, too, from me to you.
Happy holidays, you guys.
Somebody on this board once suggested a cover of Silent Night by Marilyn Manson. While I’d really like to hear it, I’m sure it would piss off so many people that in the end it wouldn’t really be worth the hassle.
There’s a metal band called Blitzkreig (don’t know if that’s the right spelling or not), has a song called Santa. It’s about a guy who lures kids into his house and rapes and kills them. It’s both funny and disturbing at the same time.
I also picked up a Tales From the Crypt christmas CD a couple of weeks ago. There’s a CD full of great songs.
