There are 134,459 distinct hands you can be dealt (if there are no jokers and no cards are wild); “distinct” means that the hands aren’t the same if you just switch the suits around (so 8h 8d 8s 2h 2d is not distinct from 8h 8d 8c 2d 2c, as both 2s are of suits that are in your three 8s, but 8h 8d 8s 2c 2d is distinct as your 2c is not of a suit where you have an 8).
No strategy card comes close to covering every one of the 134,459 hands, and the casinos realize that strategy cards won’t cut into their profits significantly, but an app that can play every hand just might, especially if it turns a game with less than 100% return into one with greater than 100% return.
