I’ve used Google Earth to add custom locations but I’d like to be able to highlight a path by color coding certain roads and then save it. I don’t see how I can do that.
Maybe the paid version?
How about Google Maps or another of the free or paid mapping programs??

You can also do it in Maps. If you;re logged into google, go to maps, click “my places”, then “create map” and you can export it as kml for use with Earth. That’s about all I know. I have a couple maps I made years ago and I forgot everything since.
