...Will Smith is on the list. (Appearance on Graham Norton)

…I’ve got a list of people I know that I really really should hate but I can’t because they are so awesome. Will Smith is on that list. He can sing. He can dance. He acts in major Hollywood movies. He produces. He is happily married to a beautiful wife and he has talented kids. He’s rich. And damn it all, seems to be a genuinely nice guy.

And here he is on Graham Norton a few days ago. With a couple of special guests from the past. (And as an aside: Michael Douglas was on the same episode. What a killer line up!)

And here’s the original appearance, that I absolutely loved.

Just needed to share. Feel free to add any other people that need to go on the list.

Justin Timberlake. Never liked any of his music, and of the two movies I’ve seen him in, I hated him in one of them. Young, rich, insanely popular - but he’s funny and doesn’t seem to take himself seriously all the time. When he hosts Saturday Night Live, it’s usually a good episode.

…good call. Reminds me of this scene from The Southland Tales. The movie was completely incomprehensible to me:and this scene made no sense at all: but it was one of the highlights.

There’s not all that many super-famous actors/whatever that just go “Fuck it, I’m an entertainer”. Will Smith, obviously, and Tom Hanks, others?

It goes without saying that Graham Norton has the best chat show on the planet. It’s just so simple - get the guests on the sofa at the same time, and if you can let them have a good go on the wine beforehand…

My wife and I are avid Norton show watchers. I bet Craig Ferguson wishes he could run his show this way. Get everybody out there, let them sit together and listen to everyone else for 45 minutes, and have fun.

I love this moment with Hugh Jackman on the show.

Oh, don’t forget the time he got Daniel Radcliffe to help him write Harry Potter fanfiction…and post it to the internet!

Oh, and Ricky Gervais helps. Hilarious.

Of course, with Will Smith, it’s more like “To heck with it, I’m an entertainer.”

Or “Hell, no… I’m an entertainer.”

Gosh darn, you are correct

Will.i.am is on the list!

I never would have thought he could be so charming and funny, and I’m hesitant to use the word, but I found him totally ADORABLE.

Watch the body language in this clip - Will.i.am starts off crossing his legs and facing away from Miriam Margolyes, but by the end they’re touching each other and he’s resting his head on her shoulder.

Their exchange about the photo with Prince William is hilarious.

Graham Norton can do no wrong, imo. I think it’s because he comes off as a lovable guy himself.

Will.i.am and Miriam Margolyes on Graham Norton Show

…incorrect. But at least the Dalek sorted him out!

Hee hee Daww! how cute. See - totally lovable

…just watched the Will I Am epsiode: I didn’t know much about him before, but he definitely goes on the list!

The world has gone far too long without the Carlton dance.

I love Graham Norton’s chat show. His opening bit involves making jokes about various celebrities and showing embarrassing photos of them, but as an American, I don’t always get the joke or recognize the celebrity. I think he used to have shows on Channel 4 and then BBC Two and I heard that the show was tamed down when they moved it to BBC One.
