Will the latest Bundy clan actions bedevil the GOP candidates?

But a whole lot easier to ignore than thousands of campers in Zuccotti Park.

Not play out favorably…How did he figure that one out? His prescience is …Eerie…

I think I had an inkling back when daddy said “I want to tell you one more thing I know about the Negro…”

They are actually still pretty easy to ignore. There are no hostages, the building is not essential, let them have it for as long as they want to occupy it. Even Occupy at least made a nuisance of themselves, these guys have just taken over a building only the government cares about. THe presence of guns doesn’t matter as long as feds with guns don’t show up to oppose them.

Aren’t these “bad guys with guns”?

They’re trespassing. What happened to the party of Law and Order?

What happened to the party of diplomacy and force as a last resort? You do realize that unless we use a smart bomb, we’re going to have to do essentially a military operation on the ground that will almost certainly result in loss of life of federal agents. I’d hope liberals would be just as reluctant to go there as they are with our foreign enemies.

Sure, force is a last resort. Has any first resort been attempted? Reporters have walked up to the visitor center door. Has any representative of law enforcement simply told these lunkheads, “what you’re doing is illegal. We’re not going to let any supplies in, so you’re going to be pretty cold and hungry. Everyone who comes out will be arrested, but prosecutors are going to take a much kinder view of those who surrender peacefully and soon.”

Not sure, but even that step really isn’t necessary. The only thing that makes this different from Occupy is the weapons. Eventually they’ll get tired of being there and leave.

Right, a bunch of nutjobs (with all due respect) take over a federal building armed and daring the feds to come in. This is the same as Occupy except for firearms? You think the firearms is non-material?

How is this any different from AIM in the past doing the same thing?

Correct me if I’m mistaken, but I’m having a hard time picturing these folks as second amendment “militia” *and *responsible firearm owners. Seriously?

I like this point: This act should preclude you from gun ownership in the future. Is that not law? If they are not going to hit these guys with a gun-disqualifying charge that’s Fd up.

I propose the Tamir Rice method of dealing with this. You pull up in a tank, going at 60 MPH, with a lot of noise. Anyone looks out the window without their hands visible must be a shooter and should be executed, within 2 seconds. (only a pinko would wait 3)

Can’t wait for an actual patriot with balls like TRUMP to call for using napalm or nerve gas against these putschists.

Are we not men?

We are Devo!

Carpet bombing.

Better take out the nearby town as well, just to be sure.

Lets use Ted Cruz’s idea, Precision Carpet Bombing … whatever the hell that means.

I think it’s the bombardier’s equivalent of “skytyping”.

Actually that’s his plan to blow up Precision Carpets, a shop just down the road from me. I’m gonna move if he starts leading in the polls.

I have some real questions:

For the board: Are they letting people in to give them food etc.? WHY?! Are they not turning the water and power off because they are afraid of a waco? They never seem to say what’s actually happening.

For the right of center: Should these people forfeit their right to own a gun for having done this? At what point should this right be forfeit?

You have to pass laws for that to happen. What they are guilty of is trespassing. That’s neither a cause for violent law enforcement response, or to take away their guns. Legally, this is basically a sit-in.

It has to be more than that. They have taken the place with guns. they are threatening violence.

How do you remove the use of guns to enforce your trespass as a factor?

When they have guns it doesn’t matter but when people of another race do then it’s an incident?

They do have guns. I’m not sure if there’s a federal “armed trespass” law that applies. Perhaps a legal expert could help us out. That might make the crime worth prosecuting. If it’s regular trespass, probably not. They’ll be allowed to just leave when they get sick of occupying the place.

They have not threatened violence. All they’ve “threatened” to do is defend themselves if attacked.
