With all the men being brought down due to charges of sexual harassment (or worse), wouldn’t it seem that Trump’s accusers would get another shot at being heard? We needn’t get into criminal charges (especially since he’s a sitting president), and most of the men being accused aren’t facing legal issues, either.
I only have a vague recollection of the charges, but it seems to me it’s time to revisit. Is there any reason the press will stay away from that story? Is it “old news”?
I hear it mentioned on a daily basis. Especially since the Trump administration decided to comment on Franken and came out in support of Moore.
In the past week, old news is new again:
WaPo
NY Mag
Newsweek
People
Salon
etc…
And if we’ve learned anything from the Bill Clinton saga it’s that presidents should not be untouchable when it comes to being charged with criminal sexual behaviour.
Revived? Almost certainly. Stick? Probably not.
When did we learn this? I’ve got a thread asking that. I figure it’s time Clinton had his own thread, so he doesn’t keep getting brought up without any evidence in every other sexual harassment thread.
