IF Trump is indeed going to be indicted soon, the DA would be smart to wait now that Trump has made “I’m being arrested on Tuesday” a big news story. Let him and his supporters stew all day and then crickets. Let him be the boy who cried wolf and look like a fool. Then nab in in a week or two. It’s already been years, so a little longer won’t hurt.
These simple farmers, people of the land, have work to get back to. Thursday would be fine.
And I’m not sure that I support the idea of arresting him “in two weeks”.

I do, however, support saying we’re going to arrest him “in two weeks”, letting him assume that we’re using his “two weeks equals never” interpretation, and then actually showing up on his doorstep exactly two weeks from now with an arrest warrant.

This works for me. If we can put Trump in prison for 25 years, I don’t really care if his supporters refuse to believe that he’s actually in prison.
Yeah, it’s pretty much all their standard, “All the violence was by antifa plants who made MAGAts look bad!” nonsense. It’s not so much that the protests are a “trap”, but that the Anitfa FBI Deep State agents will exploit the protests to start violence that they’ll blame on the innocent MAGAts.
So yeah, the MAGAts should definitely all stay home and shut up to avoid looking bad. All those antifa agents will just be left standing around looking stupid while Trump is arraigned. Don’t worry, in 2 weeks Trump will be back in power and arrest everyone.
CNN says that the FBI and DHS are monitoring the situation and are seeing increased chatter but nothing indicating serious organizing.
Although some are advocating organizing a run on the banks. Not sure what they hope to accomplish with that? Its not like violent protests that can go on until those in power to give in to your demands to make them stop. This would be a one shot of crashing the economy out of spite with no follow up other than everyone being pissed at you.
Overall I think that @SmellMyWort is correct. Even if they were planning on arresting the ketchup flinging toddler today, they will probably push back their time table a few days to a week to lull the opposition.

I really don’t think the combined bank accounts of thousandaires who’ve spent the last six years donating to Trump grifts total enough to crash a bank, even if they did get organized enough to all do this at once.
Even MAGA heads are a little pissed off with Trump now. He promised to bail out the protesters from Jan 6 and he never followed through. Kind of like the way he never pays his contractors. Or anyone else for that matter.
