Will Trump kill himself on January 20?

“The Trump Covid Death Tour”

I hate thread titles that momentarily get my hopes up for nothing.

Cite, from May 2020.

Bolded part cracked me right up. And you’re probably right.

And German bankers always collect their debts. I think his bubble of inflated riches will collapse when the foreclosures come rolling in.

You can listen to Stern here talk about this. It’s right on. Trump hates these people, but they are the only ones dumb enough to give him his adoration.

Out of all the possibilities, I see this one as extremely unlikely, at least a 1 / 10^6 or lower. Trump is WAY too much of a narcissist to go that route.

He may hate the people in his crowds, but he sure loves the color of their money. The more money he can fleece from his gullible followers, the better he likes it.

“I know more about killing myself than Dr. Kevorkian, believe me.”

One-in-a-million chances turn out nine times out of ten.

I don’t think Trump will kill himself because -

  1. He cannot conceive of a world without him
  2. He’s been bailed out of trouble his entire life… why would it stop now?
  3. He can’t stand the idea of others laughing over his dead body
  4. He’s too cowardly to risk whatever pain or discomfort might be involved.

He’ll get worse without ever getting better, I think that’s a given, but I don’t think he’ll kill himself. Someone will have him committed first.

Re: This common assumption that a narcicicicicst (sp?) would never kill himself: I think that’s not necessarily intuitive.

A nar… thinks he’s God’s gift to the world. He does not imagine others laughing over his dead body. No, he imagines the whole world wracked and distraught over his absence, rending their sackcloth garments with much wailing, and pouring ashes over their heads. Yes, he imagines this with much glee.

The narcissist commits suicide to punish the world.

Now, Trump in particular may be much too cowardly to do this, as many above suggest. But a bolder, braver narcissist might well do it.

Or John Barron…

“They tell me, everybody tells me, they say, ‘Donald, nobody is better at suicide than you, nobody.’ I don’t know, I think I am just kind of special that way.”

He shoulda bought that volcano back when he really was rich.

I take it the bushwhackers, hornswogglers, shitkickers and Methodists are on the fence?

That’s where my safe money would be on.

It wouldn’t have been his worst investment. At least he could take a legitimate tax write-off when it melts down, unlike Trump Airlines, Trump Mortgage, and the Trump Taj Mahal.

Stranger

This. Those who helped him will get off scot-free, too. And the next time we elect a wannabe dictator, he’ll actually know what he’s doing.

This is a question I’ve thought about a few times. I feel that Trump is scared. I mean really scared. My guess is that the legal issues in the US is the least of his worries. I suspect he owes an unGodly amount to Deutsch Bank, and more than that I think he’s worried about what Putin is going to do when Trump is no longer useful to him.

I’d give it about a 10% chance that Trump will be dead within a month of leaving office, and that it will look like it’s by his own hand, probably accidentally. A drug overdose seems likely. However, there will probably be at least rumors that someone did him in, possibly a foreign power. (There will, of course, be those that will say the Democrats did it, but of course with no explanation of why they would.)

I have been saying for a while that they should put him on suicide watch.

As far as I can see, his alternatives are:

  1. Accept defeat, and face a bunch of criminal and civil actions.
  2. Suicide.
  3. Go postal, and be taken down by his own bodyguards.
  4. Attempt a coup, order the military to protect his presidency. It would not go well for him.
  5. Try to flee from justice to another country. Maybe Russia will grant him sanctuary.

He has basically ruled out #1, suicide is a fairly likely alternative.
