Yes probably but if they do that, attempt to smear a gold star family, more Republicans will move away from Trump or disown him. Like I said upthread, Khan has said his goal is to get Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell to disown Trump.

My fear (one of them at least), is that Russia will fund and provide weapons through deniable proxy organisations to lone wolf radicalised refugees in Europe. If we get a constant stream of attacks similar to the Nice truck attack and the Ansbach bombing from now to November it will play into Trump’s hands.
And even if there is no dirt to find, they’ll make something up and spread it, knowing that to the average Trump supporter, there is no difference between Middle Eastern/Muslim/Muslim Brotherhood supporter/Radical Islamist/ISIS Member.
Haven’t read the whole thread, but someone on another board said she believes this is a big distraction from the Seth Rich/Wikileaks thing.

Just heard on MSNBC that Trump was one of about 10 people trapped in an elevator before a rally in Denver yesterday, and this is why it started late. He found a way to insult the fire chief, specifically because they were turning people away from the venue. Yes they were, because then the building would have been over capacity.

Trump doesn’t want the job, has never wanted it. He only started it for the publicity and when it began to snowball, loved it for the ego-boost, but every time his poll numbers show any signs of climbing, he does his best to sabotage himself.
Hilary has been the target of unjustified slime for 30 years. Trump, demonstrating how a scandal-monger can benefit from being a complete asshole for 30 years, makes Hilary look like a sainte. Really.

It seems there’s only one thing wrong with that statement. He hasn’t. Eric thinks calling Capt. Khan a hero is an apology. Typical of how the Republicans redefine words to fit their agenda.

I only started thinking about it recently, but it’s worth noting that Trump has never faced a room that’s bipartisan, and won’t until the first general election debate. The guy has never run a campaign before, and the only places he’s spoken are the Republican primary debates and his own rallies. What the hell is he going to do in a room where half the people hate him and another 35% are squirming in their seats? He hasn’t the slightest clue about how to handle that.
