Will Turner flight logs?

Ok, been trying to find answers to this and then it dawned to try SDMB! Anyway, I read 2 books a few years back by the author Chris Davey. The first was ‘The Aviator’s Apprentice’, followed by ‘Turner’s Flight’. Being a WWI buff, his books stood out. Reading them I found his writing to be great; developed characters and an insightful overview to the aircraft of the day. I read both without being able to put either down. I’ve been waiting desparately for the third installment. Well, it hasn’t come. The author used to have a web site up but it seems to be down. The last I heard (a good 3 years ago) was that he was finding research more indepth and interesting, and the following book (#3) would be out later than expected (like a year, I recall). Then he just dropped off the map as far as searches goes. So, anyone know any info on this? His Turner book series looked to be great. I’m hoping I get to read a book 3 (4, 5, etc…) before I die. Can it be?

Gosh, I hope so!

The author is a very nice man. He has an email address on the website (up at http://turnerlogs.com/index.html ) so I don’t think he’d mind an enquiry from a fan.

I’m aware of the website, and used to chek it for info. However, for the past 3 years it never seemed to be updated. I think I’ll email him at his site address…
