Will Wall Street be abolished if Sanders wins?

The military does not have to take anybody, and takes only so many recruits as its budget covers.

And only a select few of those recruits qualify to fly those supersonic fighter jets that make a loud whooshing sound as they fly overhead.

Wouche.

He won’t have the opportunity to affect the stock market.
History suggests that a declining market in an election year results in a change of Party.

He could rename the street to like, “Main St.”. Does that count as abolishing it? Actually, I don’t think as president he could unilaterally do that. He could call it that as a nickname though.

Oh. I thought Glory was your first name. My apologies.

Yabbut these guys will all be ex-hedge fund managers, and shit. They’ll bribe their way in with all that golden parachute money they snagged on their way out.

I must admit there is a certain appeal to staffing our armed forces with soldiers who can simply bribe the enemy.

Great: just what we need, an army full of Milo Minderbinders.

perhaps he likes his Boss

I don’t think the President has the power to abolish Wall Street.

To do that, I think you’d have to talk to Catherine McVay Hughes. She chairs the community board of that neighborhood of Manhattan, and I believe they are the ones to contact in order to rename streets in that area, theoretically including Wall Street.

Thinking purely hypothetically, could some kind of executive order or orders affecting government contractors damage Wall Street, at least to some extent? Perhaps by saying that the government will no longer do business with publicly traded companies, or something insane like that?

I’m not suggesting that Sanders, or anyone else, would set out to be destructive in this manner simply for the hell of it, but would it be possible?

Rename Wall Street . . . hmmmm . . .
