The first debate was very hard to watch. There is no insight to be gained from other debates, surely.
I like Canadian columnist Andrew Coyne. He’s knowledgeable and usually right. He was not a fan of Trump’s message. 15% of Canadians would vote for Trump (some like his foreign policy or favour a Conservative judiciary), but he is pretty unpopular here.
Going back to the issue of debates, I think Biden has his excuse to get out of the next round if he wants one. The Trump entourage cannot be trusted to wear masks and behave in a manner that is consistent with protecting public safety. It’s as simple as that.
