I typically go to great lengths to avoid death videos, but this one I might watch. I’d have to think about it. I would imagine it’s rather non-violent and anticlimatic. Probably no sound. Steve swimming, a little lightning flash of a tail-whip and some sediment from the bottom swirls up.
I really doubt it will ever be released, though. This does put Terri between a rock and a hard place, though, of wanting to “prove Steve’s innocence” but simultaneously not share an incredibly private and painful moment with every idiot who has an internet connection.
I have. I’ve seen it with my own two eyes and have heard a few first hand accounts. The stinger/barb/whatever you want to call it CAN break off and remain in the victim. In Irwin’s case, the way it is phrased by the witnesses -“He pulled the barb out” - it certainly makes it sound like it was no longer attached to the stingray.
I’m thinking more of simple human decency. I cannot imagine anyone possessing that attribute doing anything other than (a) giving giving the only copy of the tape to the family to destroy if they wish, or (b) destroying it themselves.
